In the primordial realm of Starland, five sacred sites rise along the distant frontiers, aligned in the form of a great pentagram. Ancient legends whisper that within these hallowed grounds lie the fragments of the Xingling Gems, once thought lost to the far reaches of the cosmos.
Drawn by the promise of power and destiny, heroes from every corner of the land converge upon this fated place, each seeking to claim the throne of Xinglingwang, the Star Spirit King. Along the way, they must contend not only with the schemes of rivals but also the trials and backlash of the sacred sites themselves.
Only those who master the strength of unity and endure the ordeals of the holy lands shall be deemed worthy. To them alone will the fragments grant recognition, and from among them shall rise the one destined to be crowned the new Xinglingwang.
A simple yet deep area control game based on the world of a popular Taiwanese TCG.
Players take on the role of strategists for their respective factions, sending hero units with different abilities to the sacred sites. In each round, players place pairs of heroes in any order and combination from three options:
- “Both face down”
- “Both face up”
- “One face down, one face up”
After placement, abilities are resolved in order, and players score points based on the strength of the heroes remaining in each area. Combos of card abilities and strategic area control are the keys to victory. Beautiful hand-drawn illustrations bring each character to life and add drama to the battlefield.
